Not quite what Mortals have in mind when they dream of an afterlife, Heaven is a collection of worlds stacked one upon the next and all firmly in the grip of the Patriarch.  In reality more of a series of mind-bogglingly massive cities reminiscent of a child's stacking rings, the seven Heavens are intimitely linked and still wholly separate.

It seems to be a phenomenon exclusive to the Fifth:  the dichotomy between what is perceived as "normal" and that which exceeds it.  There are always superior beings -- of every world, age, and Race -- but in the Fifth there appear those who are simply miraculous.

In order for anything that follows to make rational sense, one must first understand our usage of vocabulary.

If as the case may be, one cord becomes too weak to bind, then several cords become necessary to keep our foe at bay. The only way to accomplish this end is to literally undo the work we have done so far...ALL of it. Needless to say this path is fraught with peril and danger, but I see no alternative as this insidious plauge is ravaging our ranks and reducing our numbers, is afflicting even myself. This decision should not be undertaken lightly, for we are literally talking about the creation of possibly an infinite number of alternate realities, existing parallel to each other.
