CKEditor is our content creation tool of choice because it offers a familiar, word processor interface and an efficient load time. While power users may feel right at home, even they may find a few of the quirks of this editor (and the website systems that support it) a bit confusing at first.

Very likely the first thing a user will notice is the array of buttons across the top of the editor window. While configurable from a user's account settings page and not every option will be available for every content type/user role combination, we will run through them briefly here. Those options that may require a bit more explanation will be featured on their own child pages.
