New users may once again choose their Role upon account creation.

New users may choose to begin their relationship with WWandI.com as either a Explorer so they can explore, comment and converse (but not much else) or as a Contributing Member and be able to do (almost) anything they want!

Contributors are expected to contribute, of course.  Non-contributing Contributing Members may very well see their role degrade (but that isn't terribly likely).

This is a one-time only choice.
But what, you might ask, if you change your mind later?

Good question!

Apply Inside!

Users may submit applications to adopt new roles.  Explorers can start contributing, Contributors can become Core (que the angelic chorus) and Core may attempt to assume the awesome power and authority of a Site Administrator (dun dun DUN!).

The Bottom Line

There are going to be problems with this system.  That is a guarantee.  We will do our best to fix them.  That is a promise.
