A group of individuals who have dedicated themselves to the preservation of the space-time continuum. Mostly made up of those who have awakened to a latent ability to spontaeously travel through the space time continuum. Such people are called Temporalists. Unfortuately not all temporalists are benevolent, hence the reason for the Watchers. Some temporalists create disruptions in the space time continuum for selfish reasons. The Watchers exist to fix the timeline, and expunge the alternate timeline that is created from existence. Recently a plauge that caused an alternate timeline decimated the ranks of The Watchers, making it untenable for them to continue their efforts to preserve the timeline. In a last ditch effort to prevent the destruction of the space time continuum, the remaining watchers executed the "Multiverse Solution," which essentially returned each and every alternate timeline that had been expunged to reality simultaneously. The result has been an infinite number of alternate realitites existing parallel to each other.
